I’ve been wearing wigs since I was 14 years old. While it was never my choice to do so, I have grown to enjoy the ease and flexibility of changing my hair. Wigs are always given a name, either by the manufacturers, stylists or the wearers after purchase. It makes it easier to distinguish between similar styles, and it also helps spark my imagination as to the character each wig represents or could embody.
Three of my favorite girls in my collection currently are Kylie and Nekomimi

Kylie was a virgin until I added some dimensional magenta pigments during Covid. I instantly got matched with her at the beauty supply on at Macarthur and Telegraph. I love how she moves and responds naturally to the air and the humidity, but there have been some rough nights spent trying to condition her deep enough! The saleslady said if I took good care of her, Kylie could be mine for life. I hope that is true because human hair is not cheap or easy to come by, especially a natural auburn.
